My First Ever Surgery

Hello! Started off by posting the lyrics to one of my fave korean songs, Now (There Is No Tomorrow) by Troublemaker. (And yes, I typed most of the song out myself and only referred to another website for a verse. I am learning korean so I know a little.) I love the duo. They have so much chemistry and I hope they will fall in love and get together someday ♥

Anyways, I got my dental surgery done last wednesday. It wasn’t too bad, except for the part when they anaesthesised me. I went for local anaesthesia because it was nothing major, so I was awake throughout the whole thing. The only thing I truly felt during the surgery was the gold chains grazing my jaws lightly. After my surgery, I told my friend, “my mouth is now damn valuable because I have two gold chains in it.” LOL okay I am lame. Recovery was painless, except when I munch on snacks like mamee and oreo cookies. I know, I know. I probably shouldn’t do that. I can’t help myself when it comes to food though 😦

Now if only I can start exercising. I really need it to burn off my extra calories haha. I need to sleep earlier too. My body clock is all screwed thanks to my irregular sleeping hours.

Going back down to my surgeon’s office on thursday to get my stitches out. Thankfully they are not dissolvable cos that will be plain gross. I hope it doesn’t hurt too, but I am quite assured from reading others’ experiences online. Many said that they only felt a slight tug. I sure hope so…

Until next time!

P.S. For those who wants to know, I got my surgery done in the National Dental Centre in Singapore. It’s the ‘exposure and bonding of impacted canine teeth’ I think >< not very sure about the name. If you want to get an idea of what it looks like, you can always go to youtube and type in those words. There are many articles online too. I know because I researched on my surgery before getting it done haha 😀
